Simone Felice is a singer-songwriter originally from the Catskill Mountains upstate New York who first came to fame playing with his brothers Ian and James in The Felice Brothers.

After he required emergency surgery on a congenital heart defect in 2010, he decided to get out from behind the drum kit and began performing his own songs.

This April, Felice will release his third solo album, The Projector. The Projector is a largely sparse affair, featuring simply Simone’s haunting voice alongside his acoustic guitar playing, however it does feature some beautiful additions from the likes of Natasha Khan (Bat For Lashes) and Kieran Hebden (Four Tet) to give Felice’s lyrical portraits of loneliness and paranoia even more subtlety and depth.

Part woodsman and part slam poet, Felice is a wonderful musical talent and performer, with a unique take on the world.
