Canadian hardcore punk trio start their European tour with a date in Whelan’s.
Canadian hardcore punk trio stop off for date in Whelan's this May on their European tour.
In late 2017, the band unleashed their third record, Strange Peace, produced by the legendary recording engineer and musician Steve Albini. This is the band’s first visit to Ireland since its released.
Predictably, the band showed no sign of softening its sound on its third full-length record. Strange Peace offers walls of distorted guitars, pounding drums, and no shortage of lyrical vitriol, with the band channeling the sound of the likes of Sonic Youth, Black Flag, and Fugazi.
An powerful live proposition, Metz will bring a mixture of punk rock and abrasive noise to Whelan’s in what will be a night of energy and sweat.
