One of the festival highlights has to be the Indoor Tribute Festival. Celebrating the music of bands such as U2, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Bon Jovi and more, Perry's Warehouse in the centre of Carlow Town is going to be rocking on the October bank holiday weekend!
For the little ones, there will be a wide range of events planned, both free and charged. One of the favourites is the Carlow Farmers Market Street Party featuring a mobile petting farm, street entertainers, busking competition, puppet shows, face painting, a ukulele band, free pumpkin soup and more!
On the bank holiday Monday (28th) Scarefest have legendary comedy hypnotist Michael McCoy in the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow Town. Brave members of the audience will be placed under Michael's spell and made to do things that will have the rest of the audience in stitches!
On Halloween night, Scarefest have a special treat with Barry Fitzgerald from Ghost Hunters International hosting an evening of the paranormal in Duckett's Grove, said to be one Ireland's most haunted buildings. Attendees will hear of some of Barry's experiences over the years before embarking on a real investigation with the help of a local paranormal team (and Barry of course!)
