Cork Road, Waterford City, Waterford,
Ireland's biggest biodiversity and natural heritage festival!
The Bealtaine Living Earth Festival takes place in Ireland's sunny Southeast and offers more than 50 unique events showcasing the beauty of nature at the start of the summer.
The Bealtaine Living Earth Festival is now in its 15th year. It is a partnership between visitor centres, environmental organisations and interested individuals in the Southeast who, through a broad variety of events in Counties Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary, want to highlight the relationship between sustainability, biodiversity and natural resources.
Outdoor science events - workshops for all the family, guided walks through beautiful parks and gardens, tours along Ireland's amazing shorelines - and indoor events related to our rich environmental diversity are a fantastic way to get to know what's right here on our doorstep.
Visitors are inspired to explore the Southeast as a region of fascinating natural beauty and as a place to discover further throughout the summer.
Events are specifically designed to engage certain audiences: general public, adults only, families and children.
All events are free but in some cases pre-booking is advised to prevent disappointment.
Booking details and further information including a list of all events is available on website and Facebook page
