Set in the Strangford and Lecale area of outstanding natural beauty, this friendly, family run, rural bed and breakfast is ideal for dog owners, walkers, and visitors on cycling, golfing or tourist holidays. It is situated within walking distance of the beautiful coastal town of Portaferry, with its friendly shops and pubs and is a ten minute drive from a number of stunning Irish beaches. Strangford Lough, Exploris and Mount Stewart are just a few of the many fascinating attractions near at hand. The owners and their three retrievers take great pride in serving locally sourced produce and extending a warm welcome.

Facilities currently include:
Private parking, Freeview/satellite television, WiFi internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, locally sourced produce.

Lockable storage is available for visitors on cycling holidays. Packed lunches are also available*.
Ballyrusley is a non smoking property. Well behaved dogs are welcome indoors and must not be left unattended.
Dog sitting is available by prior arrangement*.
Visitors have access to the Garden facilities and BBQ facilities are available for visitor use*.
