Learn the secrets of Irish delicacies as you hear the personal stories & expertise of some of Irelands premier food producers. A 2 night package in The Headfort Arms Hotel in the historic town of Kells will encompass the Meath Food Trail that will allow you to both sample and learn the Irish ways of produce their famous goods.
This Meath Food will include 2 nights’ accommodation and a dinner on the evening of your choice in the award winning Vanilla Pod Restaurant. The Food Trail will allow you to visit 4 local producers (Ryan’s Farm, Boyne Valley Blue Cheese Goat Farm, Burkes Homemade Ice Creams or Kilbeg Dairy Delights – must all be booked in advance). When you aren’t sampling the delights of these producers, you can see the historic town of Kells features monastic towers from the 10th & 11th century. It is here where the famous Book of Kells was first discovered which is now on display in Trinity College, Dublin. 4 people at a minimum are required to avail of this package.
