Powerscourt House and Gardens are situated 20kms south of Dublin in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains. Powerscourt House is an 18th century house incorporating a terrace restaurant overlooking stunning gardens which surround the area.

The Gardens are a sublime blend of formal gardens, sweeping terraces, statuary and ornamental lakes with secret hollows, rambling walks, walled gardens and over 200 variations of trees and shrubs. They are set against the backdrop of the Sugarloaf Mountain and are over 47 acres in size. From the ornate Italian gardens, to the formal walks of the Rose garden and kitchen gardens, there is so much to see and explore.

The Gardens close at dusk in winter.
