The River Suck is one of the main tributaries of the River Shannon and is an extensive river system in its own right. It is approximately 50 miles in length, draining a large part of Cos. Roscommon and East Galway.
The River Brosna is a game angling area in South Offaly. It rises in Lough Ennell, County Westmeath and flows in a south westerly direction through Kilbeggan, Clara, Ferbane in County Offaly and joins the Shannon at Shannon Harbour.
