Dublin Indoor Sports based in Rathfarnam County Dublin provide organized indoor sports leagues and events in the Dublin area in a no-nonsense and friendly environment. With its aim to get people active and playing a sport on a regular basis throughout the year, the sports that are offered are open to both male and female and are aimed at all age-groups at different levels of experience. Leagues are run almost every day of the week to suit all needs.
Dublin Indoor Sports is run by a New Zealander, Joyce Tuataga, whose aim is to provide and promote various indoor sporting activities and events in the Dublin area. It was set up in September 2004 and a month later ran their first ever soccer league on Sundays. In January 2005 they expanded by running soccer games a couple of nights during the week as well.
Dublin Indoor Sports offers basketball, indoor netball, indoor soccer and indoor touch rugby to both male and female, from secondary school students to adults. Available in up to eight different venues on both the North and South sides of Dublin, all venues have full-sized courts, plenty of carpark space and include changing rooms and toilet facilities.
Dublin Indoor Sports recognises the importance of giving back to the Community, particularly those less fortunate, so are supporters of the Homeless Football League (HFL) and the One, Two, Five, Keep Hope Alive Campaign.
