The Bonding experience between babies and their parents is very important and one in which reading together can play a vital role. In recognition of this, the Public Health Agency, in partnership with Western Health & Social Care Trust and Culture Company, has developed a book for babies aged 6-12 months which features landmarks and buildings around Derry ~ Londonderry. 'Baby's Day Out' has been developed in conjunction with Dog Ears and Bang on the Door and will be distributed free-of-charge to every baby born in the Western area during 2013.
