Visiting HMS Caroline is an experience you’ll never forget. Bringing the past to life
First up on the HMS Caroline is the atmospheric Drill Hall, where a cinema-like experience recounts The Battle of Jutland 1916, when the British dramatically halted the German advance in the North Sea. You’ll also get to see the Engine Room, the heart of the warship, where you can hear the steam-powered turbines whir into life. The rough-and-ready “Mess Decks” and the more luxurious Captain’s Quarters are also part of the tour. Then, get some hands-on experience as a crew member in the interactive zones.
