Beautiful Belfast
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves was shot in locations near and around Belfast. Belfast, of course, was famously home to the fantasy series Game of Thrones®, and the new film made use of soundstages at Titanic Studios where that show was shot. The crew noted that being in Belfast gave them the opportunity to feature incredible locations you can't find anywhere else in the world.
Titanic Studios is located in the historic Titanic Quarter of Belfast, where the famous vessel was built. The nearby Titanic Belfast is an unmissable attraction that tells the tale of the ill-fated “Ship of Dreams.”

Causeway coastal wonders
As the production team began their development process, they dove deep into D&D lore to learn more details about the fictional environments or Forgotten Realms as they are known.
For the design of one of these realms, the Underdark, the production crew were influenced by Northern Ireland’s famous Giant’s Causeway. But they felt that the underground chambers should have a fiery, volcanic look, spewing lava from cracks in the plates!
Located on the gorgeous Causeway Coastal Route, the Giant's Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that's renowned globally for its enigmatic stone pillars, history and mythology. The landscape was formed some 60 million years ago by slow cooling lava that crystallised into 40,000 (mostly) hexagonal, interlocking columns. It's a must-visit spot on this gorgeous stretch of coastline.
