This apartment is ideally located for guests who want a fairly central location but do not wish to be right in the heart of the city. Situated in a quiet locality, in a relatively modern, three-storey block of flats dating from the 1950s, the apartment looks down on a small park which, however, is not currently open to guests. There is free car parking outside the building and around three sides of Crawford Square. A small grocery shop, the Academy Stores, about three minutes walk from the apartment, provides essential foodstuffs and other provisions during working hours, seven days a week. Two large supermarkets, Tesco and Sainsburys, and a multiplex cinema, are with in reasonable walking distance. There is free WiFi access for guests. As the apartment is located on the second floor (third floor for US visitors), and there is no lift/elevator, access could be a problem for guests with mobility problems and for those with small children. Heating is provided by electric storage heaters. The apartment contains a large ensuite double bedroom, and a twin bedroom (2 single beds), with its own separate bathroom (bathtub, shower, WC and wash basin). There is also a spacious living room and a small kitchen/dining room. This property provides an ideal base for visitors with or without their own transport, who wish to explore the scenic North-West coast of Ireland (Donegal, Inishowen, Giant's Causeway, North Antrim coast, Bushmills Distillery, the Sperrins Mountains), as well as Fermanagh's Lakeland. Day trips to Belfast, Enniskillen and Sligo are other options for those wishing to travel further afield.
