The oldest county museum in Ireland is set in Armagh’s beautiful Georgian tree lined Mall. Its collections capture centuries of stories relating to the people who lived, worked and had connections with this famous city and historic county. Admission is free to all visitors.

No trip to Armagh County Museum is complete without a memento to take home. The Museum’s shop offers an interesting selection of books related to Armagh and St Patrick, as well as pocket money items and confectionary.
Eating at the museum
Armagh County Museum has no catering facilities, but there is a wide range of places to eat, all within a short distance of the Museum. These include informal snacks in coffee shops and pubs, to restaurants catering for lunch and evening meals.
The Museum operates a Child Protection Policy and has a Designated Officer should any issues arise.
