Holyrood Hotel is an excellent three-star accommodation situated in the lovely seaside resort of Bundoran, County Donegal. The hotel, which has been in the same family for three generations, is renowned for its hospitality.
The three-star, family-run Holyrood Hotel is located in Bundoran, a lovely town that sits along the northwest coast in County Donegal. The hotel offers 62 ensuite bedrooms, some of which offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. All rooms are comfortably furnished and include direct dial telephone, TV, hairdryer and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The hotel also has a lift and is wheelchair friendly.
On the premises, guests can discover the Blue River Leisure Centre and Escape Spa, the perfect place to get in a workout or simply relax. There are pools for adults and children, a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gymnasium and more. The spa has six treatment rooms and a 'relaxarium', where people can pamper themselves.
Guests also don’t have to go far for wonderful dining experiences. The hotel’s Waterfront Bar offers a traditional environment with entertainment and lots of Donegal-style craic. There is also a carvery and Cafe Caesar, which serves a range of coffees, muffins, soups, sandwiches and more. For a more formal atmosphere, guests can sit down at Watermelon Restaurant, which offers a selection of fine dishes in both local and international culinary styles.
