Errigal Youth Hostel is a part of the Irish Youth Hostel Association, and is an impressive hostel standing at the foot of the highest mountain in Donegal, the majestic Mount Errigal.
Errigal Youth Hostel is part of the Irish Youth Hostel Association which emphasises safety and security, in budget accommodation for youth travellers and groups. It is located in the stunning Glenveagh National Park with views of the Seven Sisters Hills and Dunlewey lake at the front and Mount Errigal behind, making it an attractive destination for hill walkers.

Errigal Youth Hostel was built in 2007, it is an eco-friendly complex with a variety of rooms including en suite, twin, four-bed, and six-bed rooms in a mezzanine style. Rates include continental breakfast, WiFi, wheelchair access, conference facilities, self-catering kitchen, plasma TV, reading snug, laundry room, electric car charge point, and parking. Guests can also hire bikes.
Groups of 10 or more people can pre-book meals in advance. The Errigal Youth Hostel is open for groups of 10 or more all year round, and for all others from March to October.
As it is in the centre of a National Park, Errigal Youth Hostel prides itself on being very environmentally friendly. The staff at Errigal Hostel, with the help of the An Óige Environmental Group, worked very hard to make sure the hostel met the strict criteria needed to achieve the prestigious EU Eco Flower award.
