Situated in the beautiful Inishowen peninsula, ‘St. Bridget’s Bed & Breakfast’ is an ideal base for touring the ‘Inishowen 100’ (Ireland in miniature), including the Grianan of Aileach ancient Ring Fort, the Gap of Mamore, Dunree Military Museum, the Glen Waterfall at Clonmany, the Famine Village at Isle of Doagh, surfing at Ballyliffin, and on to Irelands most northerly point, Malin Head. The West of Donegal, including the Atlantic Drive and Glenveigh Castle, make a wonderful day trip. Buncrana is also ideally situated 12 miles from the historic walled City of Derry, and provides the opportunity of enjoying the many events planned to mark the city as UK City of Culture 2013.
