Kingstown House Bed and Breakfast features 6 en-suites rooms, including 2-Triple Rooms and 1- Family Room, so families are always welcome. Kingstown B&B is a traditional Irish home, which dates back to at least 1926 as can be seen in a 1926 photo of the town.
Kingstown Bed & Breakfast offers an extensive breakfast menu with numerous choices, including several vegetarian options. Kingstown Bed & Breakfast can also accommodate the needs of celiacs, and provide gluten-free options if needed. Kingstown Bed & Breakfast is located in Clifden town centre which is the largest town in Connemara; consequently it makes for a wonderful base for touring all of Connemara and the surrounding area. Clifden is well known for traditional Irish music, with many venues and numerous early options, so be sure to catch a session or two. With Kingstown Bed & Breakfast being located centrally it is very convenient to walk to the bus stop, restaurants, shops. So you can stay in Clifden town yet experience the picturesque landscapes and the mystique and wonderment of Connemara. As well as a drive on the nearby Wild Atlantic Way, other interesting venues include but not limited to the Connemara National Park in nearby Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, or take magnificent drives on Sky Road and/or the Bog Road, a true hidden gem.
Kingstown Bed & Breakfast is an excellent touring base and convenient for cycling, hiking, beaches, fishing and golf. Derryglima, approximately 8km from Clifden, is the site of two famous historical sites – the Marconi Wireless Station and the landing site of Alcock & Brown first transatlantic non-stop flight. We are located approximately 15km from the Connemara Championship Golf Course and 23 km for the fishing village of Roundstone.
