Donnell O’Loan, local historian, will give a talk on the building of the Antrim Coast Road.
The North Coast Association which is a supporter group for the National Trust holds a number of events throughout the year some of which are open to the public. The lecture on the building of the Antrim Coast Road will be held at the Magherabuoy House Hotel on Tuesday 8 October 2019 commencing at 19:30.
Donnell O’Loan is a well known local historian. We look forward hearing from him on how this spectacular road was constructed, a real feat of 19th century engineering and how local coastal communities benefited from its existence. The lecture will be illustrated. There will be a time to put questions to the speaker.
The evening will end with a cup of tea and a biscuit. Everyone is welcome.
