Fancy a nice, relaxing day out, taking in the sights of West Cork and Kerry without the stress of driving? Insight Tours offers sight-seeing minibus day tours around West Cork and Kerry, with trained local guides on hand to help you discover the best places which this beautiful part of the World has to offer.
Tour 1 (Wednesdays) will take you along the stunning West Cork coastline, following the Wild Atlantic Way past stone circles, ancient forests and pretty villages to Baltimore – the gateway to the islands.
Tour 2 (Fridays) allows you to enjoy the beauty of both West Cork and Kerry, as you travel down the coast to Bantry, visiting the Market, and over the mountains to the renowned towns of Kenmare and Killarney, including the Killarney National Park.
Tour 3 (Saturdays) takes you to the ‘Ends of the Earth’; the rugged peninsula of Mizen Head, with its famous bridge and gorgeous beaches along the way – truly the Wild West! Stop at the lovely village of Crookhaven where you can choose to eat and drink at Europe’s most South-Westerly point!
All tours run between 10am and 6pm approx. every week between June and end of September. Insight Tours’ motto is “Small numbers + small buses = a better tour!”
Also offering individually tailored tours around West Cork and Kerry, outside of the scheduled tour days, and these come complete with guide and driver. Your itinerary will be discussed in advance and agree a price based on the length of tour and numbers going. You can also book on of the scheduled tours as a private tour, outside of the scheduled tour days – just contact Insight Tours to discuss your requirements.
Please note that the tour price does not include meals, drinks or admission to Visitor Attractions. You aren’t forced to eat anywhere or visit any particular place, so it is entirely at your own discretion.
Tickets MUST be paid for and collected from O’Donovan’s Hotel, Clonakilty by 7pm on the day prior to the tour.
Cash as payment – no credit/debit cards or cheques, sorry!
There are ATMs within one minute’s walk of O’Donovan’s, so please be prepared.
Limited places mean there are no discounts offered to children, students or OAP’s.
These tours are not suitable for children under 7 yrs old or the severely disabled.
Booster seats are not provided, so bring your own if you need them!
