Ballymoney Show is one of the oldest and largest agricultural shows in Northern Ireland.

Ballymoney Show is one of the oldest and largest agricultural shows in Northern Ireland, offering an exciting 2 days of entertainment for the whole family.

Ballymoney Show offers something for everyone, no matter what age you are, townspeople or country people, both outdoor and indoor – from livestock judging including cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, horse and pony judging to food tents with cookery demonstrations and celebrity chefs; from agricultural products, artisan foods to local crafts as well as entertainment in the form of music, football competitions and tug of war. Not to forget the bonny baby competition, home industries and schools exhibits and an even more exciting dog show this year.

This year at Ballymoney Show we will be hosting one of the semi-finals of the Junior Irish Shows Association Home Cook Competition, which emphasises “Creativity with Irish Ingredients”. The competition will be run alongside cooking demonstrations by TV3 and RTE chef Adrian Martin (Chef Adrian) alongside our own artisan food stands. The winner of the Ballymoney Show heat will take part in the All Ireland Final, which will take place at Iverk Show, Co. Kilkenny in August, 2018.
Application forms can be completed online at www.ica.ie, www.irishshows.org or www.chefadrian.ie

Ballymoney Show has built a strong sense of community for over 100 years (since 1907). We pride ourselves in the strong young farmers’ involvement with the show – involving 3 local clubs – Finvoy, Kilraughts and Moycraig. We also involve local traders to exhibit and sponsor our show.
