30/11 complete with nature and replenish your energy. Trea and Kevin provide a truly natural experience in the comfort of tastefully furnished canvas bell tents and wooden cabins.

Purecamping is about giving guests a pure experience of outdoor life and camping as it should be. Allowing you to tread lightly on the earth, albeit for a little while.

It offers you an escape from busy complicated lives and hopes to bring you some peace and clarity. Along with its Gold standard Ecotourism Ireland award it is an ambassador for the Wild Atlantic Way and recently won an Irish Responsible Tourism award for Best Small Hotel or Accommodation for Responsible Tourism.

Stay in pre-erected furnished canvas bell tents, or bring your own tent and camp in the native woodland. For the bell tents, you can go with the deluxe option that includes all bedding, or bring your own favourite pillows and duvet. Some bell tents even have little wood-fired stoves to keep you toasty in the shoulder months of the season.

There is a funky geodesic dome for recreation, allowing you to weather independent. There is a campers' kitchen with wood-fired pizza oven, a gas stove and solar-heated water. Enjoy the camp sauna and evenings by the campfire.

The campsite is pet friendly but insist on visiting dogs being controlled as there are pets in residence, including three friendly dogs, three cats, and some hens and a cockerel. So, depending on demand, fresh eggs are a possibility.

Facilities include a modern toilet and shower block with standard facilities, with hot water being supplied by a combination of wood firing and solar. There is an eco-block that features indoor/outdoor showers and composting toilets. So the choice is yours. There is a small play area for the kids and a book exchange in the dome. In reception, there are lots of reference books available providing information on local heritage, both built and natural. There is an electric car charging point available. WIFI is available in reception.

Kilkee is just seven kilometers from Purecamping, with its Blue Flag beach and amazing cliff walks, as well as a number of good hostelries and restaurants. The fishing village of Carrigaholt is eight kilometers from Purecamping and it is home to Dolphinwatch Carrigaholt. Loop Head lighthouse, which is open to the public now, is only a short drive away, as are the beautiful towns and villages of Kilkee, Carrigaholt and Kilbaha.
