Galway Glamping is situated in Brooklodge, Ballyglunin, Tuam, Co. Galway. This heritage site is 11 acres in size and mainly comprises of the former farmyard complex of the Blake Estate.
Galway Glamping can sleep up to 67 guests in various accommodation types, nine 4 person yurts, two 6 person yurts, a 10 person converted barn and four cabins which sleep a total of 9 people.
The yurts come from inner Mongolia in China and have been adapted to the Irish climate with heat and electricity installed. Social areas include the Church (19th century chapel/schoolhouse), the Sheebeen (former area to boil potatoes for the estate's pigs), the Lodge (built in April 2015 in American Cape style) and the Coach House (19th century horse and coach storage area).
There are four showers, three women's toilets, two men's toilets and two unisex toilets. The communal kitchen and dining area is located at the base of the tower (which is the protected 16th century structure).
At Galway Glamping they can arrange for a chef to come on site to cook BBQ or dinner. They also have several activity providers (such as cocktail making, bubble ball, angel card reading etc). Galway Clamping can also arrange transport locally or to Tuam or Galway. A DJ or live band can also be arranged.
