Warblebank is a large hillside garden under continuous cultivation since 1900. Mixed herbaceous borders interspersed with plantings of fruit and vegetable. From late June pergolas are heavily laden with old fashioned rambling roses: Paul's Hymalain Musk, Sander's White Climber and Mulliganii. Other bush roses include Gallica Roses, Tuscany Superb, Rosa Mundi, Charles de Mills, Bengal Crimson. July sees the flowering of Leptospermums and Phlox. Among the selection of herbaceous perennials’ are Aconitum, Campanula, Geranium and Salvias. Grass paths, lawns and mature fruit trees all combine to create an old fashioned country garden which is charming and relaxing. Some plants propagated from the borders are for sale. Teas can be arranged for tour groups by request.
