Walking Donegal

Seamus is a walking guide, trained by Mountaineering Ireland. He has been doing navigational training both in Falcarragh and Dungloe to teach students how to walk safely in the mountains. He is a member, the secretary and training officer for the North West Mountainnering Club and has been a member for the past six years and has vast knowledge of the hills in Donegal. He is also very interested in the local history of all the areas that he walks in, as well as the types of wild flowers that happen to be growing in the area at whatever season that he is in, as it is good to pass on to those groups that are walking with me. Seamus was born and bred in Falcarragh, is a fluent Irish speaker and has been on Radio na Gaeltachta a few times promoting walking.
