Refurbished in 2015, and redesigned with the safety and comfort of our passengers in mind, we can assure your experience with Mourne Sea Tours will be both breathtaking and easygoing. Thanks to her large deck area, there’s plenty of space to sit or walk around comfortably, making the most of the sunshine. While the clever shape of the hull improves buoyancy and wave handling capability, making it very stable in all sea conditions. Crew members All Mourne Sea Tours crew are lifeboat volunteers with over 50 years of experience on the water between them. A minimum of two crew members will sail with you aboard the Mourne Lady, one skipper and one additional local crew member. Friendly and passionate about the sea, we love chatting about local history, and of course, safety is on board is paramount. Boat specifications The Mourne Lady is a unique Blythe Catamaran, with the latest twin Mariner 115hp 2.1 Litre petrol outboard and smart technology setup, produces a good cruise speed while maintaining a smooth and quiet ride. Operating under the MCA code of practice category 2 (up to 60 miles offshore) the Mourne Lady is licensed to carry up to 14 passengers in total, has a flushing toilet, is fully wheelchair accessible and is fitted with life rafts and life jackets. Mourne Lady is fitted out with top of the range electronic equipment: Raymarine 48 mile Radar 2 VHF DSC Radios Raymarine 12'' colour plotter NorthStar 12'' colour touchscreen plotter Simrad CX 34 colour plotter.
