See what Ireland has in store for you
Brigit’s Garden offers a magical experience for all ages. The beautiful and unique Celtic gardens are set within 11 acres of woodland and wildflower meadows in Roscahill, County Galway. Its features include a Celtic gardens walk, a 1 km sun trail, a family Earth Quest challenge, living willow play-area, thatched roundhouse, energy installations and the largest calendar sundial in Ireland. Visitors can explore the four gardens, each representing one of the Celtic festivals of Samhain, Imbolc, Bealtaine and Lughnasa. These wildlife gardens are designed to reflect the Celtic cycle of life, the west of Ireland landscape, and are dotted with interesting features. The Garden Café specialises in high quality fresh food, using the best local produce with salads and herbs from the gardens. Relax in the light filled dining area overlooking the Gardens or dine al fresco on the patio. There is no fee into the café or gift shop so you can stop in as often as you like. Brigit's Garden is a family friendly attraction with a full calendar of special events throughout the year. The high standard facilities and tranquil surroundings also make it the ideal venue to hire for weddings, off-site meetings and special events. Brigit's Garden is accessible to wheelchair users and buggies. There is disabled car-parking near the door and an e-car charging point and bicycle rack. Photovoltaic solar panels provide the energy for the visitor's centre marking Brigit’s Garden one of the foremost sustainable tourism venues in County Galway. Brigit’s Garden is a not for profit project created for the benefit of the community, supporting biodiversity and as a centre for environmental education.
