See what Ireland has in store for you
Kealys Seafood Bar has been family run since its inception in 1989, the year that James and Tricia Kealy, with their young family in tow, returned to his childhood home in Greencastle, County Donegal. Together they transformed it from the pub his parents had run into the perfect site to put into practice all they had learned from their years working in the cooking and hospitality industry. From the beginning, the philosophy of Kealys Seafood Bar has been one of responding to their immediate environment. This is why they are a seafood restaurant, as they have the freshest of fish available a short distance from their front door at Greencastle Harbour. Though they source all their ingredients as locally as possible, their changing menus reflect influences from much further afield and are informed by well-travelled tastebuds. All of this, they strive to provide in an environment that is relaxed and friendly. In other words, they want to give you the kind of night that they would want for themselves.
