This retreat promises old world charm & inspiring moments for reflection, as Anna guides visitors through a series of mindful yoga sessions. An additional element to this retreat is a two-day heritage trail, retracing the pilgrimage of St Brendan to the enchanted village of Annaghdown, followed by a trip along the Wild Atlantic Way, to the stunning village of Roundstone, and an evening of story-telling & poetry. All guests will receive a hard-back memoir consisting of photographs & prose taken from the trip. An altogether unforgettable experience.

Dr. Anna (Ph.D., M.A, B.A), is an accredited and experienced mindful yoga practitioner, trainer and writer. She has studied a range of contemplative arts over a thirty year period, including Soto Zen at Throssel Hole Buddhist Abbey, Northumberland. In addition, she has worked in health journalism, both locally and nationally, in newspapers, radio and TV, on issues ranging from preventative healthcare and integrating wellness into everyday life. With a lifetime interest in complementary health-care, she qualified as a yoga teacher with Green Lotus Yoga in 2008. She has developed a ‘Breath Taking Journey to Well-being’ series that is suitable for complete beginners, or people with experience. This inspiring personal development approach to yoga uses movement & the practice of mindfulness to revitalize health, & enable people to reach their full potential.
All retreats take place at the Glenlo Abbey Hotel.
