Welcome to Quay West Restaurant Donegal Town, situated opposite Donegal Pier. This dual level restaurant offering intimate seating downstairs while upstairs every table provides views out over the bay.
Award winning chef owners and managers Debbie O’Reilly and Jo Roarty who were former proprietors of the Harbour Restaurant for over 15 years, recently relocated just 100 metres down the street to their brand new pier side restaurant.
Fortunate to be nestled on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the menu provides locally landed fish and shellfish from the pristine waters of the fishing ports of Inver, Killybegs and Burtonport.
The Aubrac Steaks and Donegal Mountain Lamb are sourced from the fertile lands of award winning butcher Eddie Walsh and his farmlands around the foothills of the Bluestack Mountains.
The menu also offers hand-thrown pizzas baked in a hot stone oven, seasonal salads and specials.
The emphasis is on championing local produce, maintaining sustainability and an ethos of delivering nutritious, flavoursome food at affordable prices in a casual friendly atmosphere.
The fully licensed restaurant serves innovative cocktails, local craft beers and an extensive wine list, the liqueur coffees are the perfect match to complement the array of mouth watering homemade desserts.
