Wild Atlantic Way Day Tours offers a range of day tours along the Wild Atlantic Way in County Galway and Clare, taking in The Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, Aran Islands (Inisheer), and Connemara.

Tour 1: Coast of County Clare, Cliffs and Moher and the Burren Day Tour

Departing at 9.30 am daily, this tour takes in Dungaire Castle, Kinvara, Black Head, Fanore Strand, Doolin Cave, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna and Corcomroe Abbey. Qualified driver guides provide visitors with an understanding of the rich variety of flora, fauna and geology of this historical karst limestone region. The highlight of the tour is a trip to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, which boast a magical view stretching from Galway Bay and the Connemara mountain ranges to the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry. Standing 702 feet tall at their highest, the cliffs run for 5 miles along the County Clare coastline.

Tour 2: Burren Coastal Drive, Inisheer (Aran Islands) and Cliffs of Moher

This unique tour departs Galway at 9 am daily, taking the Burren coastal route to Doolin before guests board the Doolin Ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most unspoiled of the Aran Islands. Visitors have the option of enjoying a guided tour round the island in a pony and trap before lunch in the local pub. The return boat trip to Doolin takes a spectacular voyage under the Cliffs of Moher to experience the most captivating bird sanctuary.
Visitors then visit the Cliffs, where they can enjoy a breathtaking view for miles along the west coast, and explore the interactive displays at the visitors centre.

Tour 3: Coast of Galway Bay, Connemara and Kylemore Abbey
Departing at 9.30am daily, this tour takes in Spiddal, Pearse’s Cottage in Rosmuc, Bóthar na Scragóige, Roundstone, Alcock and Brown landing site, Sky Road, Clifden, Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey. Experience the haunting wilderness of the Connemara landscape, and discover the history and heritage of its charming villages and friendly people, before returning to Galway through the stunning Inagh Valley and Oughterard.
