Lough Glore lies to the north of the Castlepollard in County Westmeath. It holds a good stock of brown trout which are best fished from a boat.
Lough Glore is a small lake which is best fished from a boat as bank fishing is not possible. It holds a good stock of brown trout which can reach up 1.5lbs.
Open season runs from 1 March until 12 October and boat hire is available from the lake shore.
