Emmy ventured to the breathtaking Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, where she embraced Ireland’s rugged landscape and rich traditions. She fell in love with the rolling green hills, dramatic coastlines, and, of course, the local farm life!

One of her favourite moments? Getting up close with adorable baby lambs and watching skilled sheepdogs at work. Why not visit a working Irish farm yourself and experience this heartwarming rural tradition?

A sporting twist

Emmy’s next stop? The wild and windswept Clogher Beach, where she got a taste of some of Ireland’s ancient sports! She tried her hand at Gaelic Games, including the high-speed thrill of hurling and the excitement of Gaelic football. And for an extra dose of cuteness, she bonded with Oisín, the Irish Wolfhound from Milltown House!

Hurling has deep roots in Irish mythology, with legends telling of Setanta, the boy warrior who used his hurl and sliotar to defend himself before becoming the great Cú Chulainn. Emmy’s experience on Clogher Beach echoed these ancient tales, blending sport, history, and the spirit of Ireland. Just like the legendary wolfhound that Cú Chulainn was named after, Emmy found a loyal companion in Oisín, bringing the myth full circle!

No Eurovision star can resist the rhythm of Ireland! Emmy embraced the magic of Irish dancing, where she learned the intricate steps of a brush dance and the lively Kerry set. The Dingle Pub is one of the most famous and iconic pubs in Ireland! A lively family-run pub on the Main Street of beautiful Dingle, it’s home to the best music 7 nights a week from March to November. With traditional Irish music twice a day—from trad sessions to Irish ballads and performances from our resident 5x World Champion dancer and Broadway star, David Geaney—you’re sure to have a blast.

It wouldn’t be an Irish adventure without a proper sing-along! Emmy grabbed the mic and joined in on a rousing rendition of The Wild Rover, surrounded by a pub full of enthusiastic voices.

Take a trip to the stunning Blasket Islands, a place of wild beauty and history. These islands, often seen as the soul of Ireland, offer a peaceful escape with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Emmy soaked in the beauty of these windswept lands and learned about the rich cultural heritage of the Blasket community, which continues to inspire storytellers today.

For the most stunning sunset views in Ireland, make your way to Dunquin Pier. Perched on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula, this spot offers panoramic views of the ocean and the nearby Blasket Islands. It’s the perfect place to capture the beauty of the Irish coastline as the sun dips below the horizon.

Don’t forget to stop at the Cupán Sé Kiosk for a refreshing treat while enjoying the view, owned by local Riverdancer & footballer Tomás Ó Sé.
