A true Britpop supergroup, Cast's live show was once described by Oasis' Liam Gallagher as "a religious experience".
A true Britpop supergroup, Liverpool's Cast was formed in 1992 with members of two of the most beloved 90s bands of all time – The La's and Shack.
Described by Oasis' Liam Gallagher as "a religious experience", the band's live shows quickly became the stuff of legend, even earning them the title of The Who of the 90s. With four albums released in under nine years, three of which were top ten records, Cast enjoyed a dedicated fanbase who turned up at venues and festivals all over the UK and Europe to watch them play their anthemic songs – truly, they made the music of a generation.
Following a decade-long hiatus, the band reformed in 2011, releasing two more records to the delight of fans everywhere, and in 2015, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their classic album All Change with two sold-out shows at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
With last year's album, Kicking Up The Dust, released to critical acclaim, the announcement this year of their Greatest Hits Tour has this visit to Dublin's Academy a hotly-anticipated show. Get your tickets while they last.
