Q-Con Belfast is the UK & Ireland’s largest and best video games & anime convention.

Q-Con Belfast is Northern Ireland’s largest and longest running video gaming and anime related convention and is home to a full weekend of gaming and anime themed events.

Running from Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th June, Q-Con XXV celebrates our 25th anniversary running in the heart of Belfast’s University Quarter. Each year the convention runs unique events featuring everything including PCs and consoles, card games, boardgames, movie screenings, special events, cosplay competitions and more.

Attendees will find themselves hard pressed to fit in all activities offered over the weekend, with dedicated floors for card and board game tournaments, video game tournaments, RPGs, eSports and a trading floor for attendees to purchase souvenirs and gifts from traders and local artists! eSports tournaments have been upgraded this year, with new equipment and large dedicated prizes available for those looking to compete in playing Dota 2, Fortnite, Hearthstone, League of Legends and Starcraft 2.

Should the above not be enough, Q-Con’s famed special events return with the renowned Friday night Q-Comedy routine and Saturday night Pub Quiz (both 18+) and, for the 4th year in a row, two nightly concerts featuring famous video game set pieces played by the talented Irish Video Game Orchestra. These events are not to be missed!.

Please note under 13s will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Getting to the convention is easy, with the Student’s Union building being only a five minute walk from Botanic train station and is a stop on the number 8 Metro bus service to and from Donegall Square. Access to the building is wheelchair friendly.
