Visit Ireland's oldest traditional fair which takes place on the last Monday and Tuesday of August.
The present day traditional fair provides street entertainment and market stalls. Two days of trading, bartering, busking, amusements and street entertainment competitions add to the atmosphere in the beautiful seaside resort of Ballycastle.
The fair traditionally attracts thousands of people from around the world and features more than 400 stalls selling craft, bric-a-brac, local crafts and farm produce to mention a few! Local specialities include 'Yellow Man' a sweet honeycomb candy and a red edible seaweed known as 'dulse'.
Locals look forward to the fair and enjoy meeting up with old friends that they haven't seen from the previous year! A good chat and a bit of craic is sure to be had!
Naturally Causeway Coast and Glens Artisan Market will be at the seafront on Sunday 26th, 27th & 28th August where you can experience a unique artisan market in and around the North Coast and Glens region of Northern Ireland. Come along, browse and enjoy the many stalls selling a range of handmade art, craft and sample the local food produce from 11:00 - 18:00
