The Abbey Hotel is a 3 Star Hotel situated in the heart of Dublin city, directly across the River Liffey from Temple Bar and adjacent to the Italian Quarter. The Abbey Hotel, which opened in March 2015, is centrally located within the capital's favourite shopping areas, traditional Irish pubs, nightlife hot-spots, and cultural attractions. Guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing from the local array of restaurants. The Abbey Hotel is only a few steps from the Academy music venue and 300m from the GPO (General Post Office was a site of an pivotal element of the 1916 rising), from the Spire on O’Connell Street and the shops of Henry Street. Grafton Street and the Olympia Theatre are both 700m away across the Liffey, and guests can cross the Liffey by the iconic Ha'penny Bridge. The Abbey Hotel Dublin on Middle Abbey Street is a good choice to stay whether guests are visiting to enjoy local artisanal fare, to enjoy some of the country's top historical attractions, or to shop. The Abbey Hotel has a 24-hour reception desk and 21 individually art-deco-styled bedrooms, complete with all of the modern amenities needed for a relaxing city break. WiFi is freely available throughout the hotel and in the bedrooms. Each bedroom is also equipped with a Flat screen TV with cable channels, private bathroom, full-length mirror, towels, toiletries, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant, (www.adelphiabbeystreet.com), and function rooms. Reservations are available for groups of 2 to 400 persons. You will receive a warm Irish welcome upon arrival in this family run hotel.
