The Step House Hotel is four-star, family-run boutique hotel located in the picturesque village of Borris, at the foot of Mount Leinster and The Blackstairs Mountains. The village of Borris in Co. The Ballroom Suite, which can cater for up to 180 guests, is an elegant room with doors that lead out onto the landscaped garden. People can also choose to host a small wedding party of up to 60 people in The Cellar Restaurant Located just 26km from Kilkenny City and only 29km from Carlow Town, Borris provides visitors with many things to see and do. The village is a picturesque place with old stone buildings, and traditional shops, bars and pubs. It is an excellent base for exploring the Blackstair Mountains and Mount Leinster Drive. The area features a range of outdoor activities, including golf, fishing, walking and hang gliding.
