Celtic Irish Tours
Celtic Irish Tours is an high-end tour for the West. Seven days and nights with chef cooked food in private Georgian Mansion. Led by bard and Irish raconteur by day and entertainment by night.
Imagine being met at the airport and being whisked away to your very own private, beautifully restored Georgian Mansion in County Galway, your home for the next seven days. Relax and unwind in your own roll-top bath overlooking the 200 acres of Irish woodland and glistening lake. Be entertained with Irish harpists and champagne whilst being introduced to your fellow travellers and hosts Shivam O’Brien and Emily Belfrage. A four course feast follows before settling for the night in preparation for your adventure to come.
What follows is an enchanting seven days and seven nights exploring the beautiful and en-chanted West of Ireland. You are guided by Shivam, a true Irish bard and raconteur who has been entertaining audiences internationally with his spoken word and knowledge. He breathes life into these enchanting and secret places that you visit together. You will step across the bouncing lilt of the limestone paved Burren in Clare, go boating along the green and pleasant shores of Lough Corrib and experience the austere grandeur of the the druid mountain, Croagh Patrick. You will move through the wild, rugged, abandoned mountains of Mayo and Galway and come to rest at the most ancient of landmarks, old before the Celts, at Carrowkeel, overlooking all of Sligo and Yeat’s “Land of Heart’s Desire”. You will adventure into the rugged terrain of Conemmara and the soft land of the Aran Irelands.
At night you return to your Mansion and to a four course chef prepared dinner. All menus are uniquely tailored with you, our guest, in mind. It is all locally sourced from artisan food suppli-ers. Picnics during the day are an opulent affair with homemade breads, meats, cheeses, fish, cakes, pies and salads.
Your evenings are full of wonder and entertainment with guest entertainers to the house such as Irish music bands and troubadours. You get a chance to experience the vibrant night life of Galway and the local pub which happens to be a hub for exceptional Irish music talent. You also have an evening at Shivam and Emily’s home that has been referred to as a modern day Celtic homestead with its many people coming and going and its lovingly homemade house and outbuildings.
If you are one of the millions of Irish diaspora who have ancestors from Ireland and a pull to find more about them, we arrange for a meeting with a genealogist who can research your lin-eage during the week to have your questions answered and your own ancestors found.
Come away with us on a journey that effuses fun and humour, but also reaches to depth and meaning, a refreshing adventure, an Odyssey for the discerning.
