The Shannon Estuary meets the Atlantic at the extremity of Loop Head peninsula on the Clare coast where a solitary lighthouse, perched 269 feet above sea level, continues to beam out its warning to shipping.
Lough Gur is not only a great fishing spots but is also one of Ireland’s archaeological and historical gems. It holds stocks of rudd and pike and is only fishable from a boat.
Black’s Lake is located on the Derryhippo River, which flows south from Creggs Village nearby. It is a very small lake within 2kms of the River Suck.
