Inishbofin Summer School

Connemara Summer School is a week long exploration of the magical island of Inishbofin, off the coast of Connemara.
A multidisciplinary team of poets, writers, musicians and scientists including botanists, zoologists and marine biologists explore the human and natural history of the island which includes field trips, lectures, workshops and concerts. The school makes a much appreciated and significant contribution to the economy of the island.
The summer school is Ireland’s longest running environmental/culture summer school established in 1984 and is approved by the Department of Education and Science for ongoing and further education for teachers, but is open to the public also.
The Summer School is approved by the Department of Education and Science as in service for teachers.
Summer School runs from the the 1st to the 5th of July, 2019.
