‘imecofarm’ is a charming, fun, living and breathing eco-workshop and exhibition set in 100 acres of peaceful countryside. Perfect for children imecofarm, is a located near Clarecastle along the Fergus estuary in County Clare.

imecofarm is a centre for families to visit, enjoy activities and relax while walking the farm, forest and river trails. It is located near Clarecastle on the town land of IslandMcGrath (im) along the Fergus estuary, County Clare.

It is a great location for school tours, summer camps and children's parties summer camps. Why not join in the Easter Egg Hunt at Easter time or visit the Halloween's Haunted House over halloween?

Throughout the centre working displays of different types of renewable energy can be found and children and adults can learn about the topic by having fun. A calendar of weekend courses covering all topics within the renewable energy sector for beginners, as well as hands-on workshops, is available for everyone to take part.

imecofarm is the first renewable energy and eco-centre in Ireland. Set in 100 acres of peaceful countryside, imecofarm is a charming, living and breathing Eco workshop and exhibition. It offers visitors the opportunity to experience renewable energy hands-on by displaying step-by-step guides and full-scale working models of wind, solar and water power as well as offering DIY courses for a more environmentally friendly future.

It has received a lot of local and also national interest with RTE televising it on ‘Higher Ground’, as one of eight top new business ideas out of 120 new star up business's in Ireland. It has featured in the Farmers Journal, the Clare Champion and the Clare People.
