Shannon Ferry will take you and your vehicle on a 20 minute journey across the estuary linking Clare to Kerry. The ferry leaves Killimer (Clare) every hour on the hour and Tarbert (Kerry) every hour on the half hour.
Ideally located on the Wild Atlantic Way, Shannon Ferries offers you and your mode of transport from car, coach, bicycle, motor cycle, or large commercial vehicle a unique and exclusive break from the road with a 20 minute passage across the beautiful Shannon Estuary linking the N67 in Co. Clare with the N69 in Co. Kerry.
Departing from Killimer Co. Clare every hour on the hour and Tarbert Co. Kerry every hour on the half hour, tickets start at €4.50 per person and throughout the summer months, the ferries run from 7.00am to 9.30pm. In addition, during high season there are two ferries in operation offering a half hourly service from 10.00am to 6.30pm.
