Set on a working farm, the charming Courtyard Apartments include lots of special details, such as fresh home baking, and fruit and vegetables available on the farm. Set near Dunshaughlin, County Meath, they are ideal for touring the region.
The Courtyard Apartments of Gaulstown House are situated on a working farm near Dunshauglin, County Meath. The apartments are located in a converted stone-faced barn that has been restored to preserve its unique character while also offering the comforts of modern living.
Upon arrival, guests will find a lovely welcome pack of fresh home backing, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, jam and butter. A basket of turf and firelighters, towels, linen and toiletries are also provided. Guests are welcome to pick fruit and vegetables, when in season and available, free of charge from the family garden and glasshouse. Free-range hen and duck eggs are available as well. Guests are welcome to reserve dinner or full Irish breakfast in the farmhouse.
Each Courtyard Apartment can sleep four people. It is equipped with TV, DVD player, CD player, electric heating, open fire, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and hairdryer.
Gaulstown House and Farm is a former Agri-tourism Award winner and Family Home of the Year Award.
Dunshaughlin Village has all needed amenities, including supermarket, banks, restaurants and pubs. The cottages are a great base for visiting Dublin, Newgrange, and the East Coast and Midlands region. The Courtyard Apartments are also ideal for a golf break, as they overlook Black Bush Golf Club and are near the Kileen Castle Golf Club.
