Eile Mental Activity Park, located only 12kms from Galway City and set in beautiful Connemara, is an outdoor activity park offering Laser Tag, Paintball, Archery, Disc (Frisbee) Golf and Orienteering. For ages 10 and over.
Eile Mental Activity Park brings exciting and challenging outdoor activities to Galway, while providing great service and value. Activities are conducted in both Irish and English with a special emphasis on Irish folklore, history and culture.
Set in the beautiful Connemara region of Galway and yet only 12kms from Galway City, Eile Mental Activity Parks unique location boasts panoramic views of both Galway Bay and Lough Corrib. Gorse, heathers, forestry and granite dominate this stunning landscape and add to the visitors enjoyment. There is also an active wind turbine farm and bog cutting to be seen in the park.
Easily accessed by both the N59 (Galway to Clifden) or the R336 (Coast Road), Eile Mental Activity Park is within easy reach of visitors experiencing The Wild Atlantic Way (WAW). A large car park, changing facilities and toilet are available on site and branded Eile Mental Activity Park merchandise is available to purchase.
Eile Mental Activity Park specialises in childrens birthday parties, national school and secondary school outings, colaistí Gaeilge, clubs, stag and hen parties and corporate staff and client entertainment. Special offers and group packages are also available.
Visitors can expect to be fully immersed in epic laser tag and paintball battles or test their skills and marksmanship in archery and disc golf. Fast and furious or slow and sedate, Eile Mental Activity Park has a great mix of activities for all.
State of the art equipment is used in LIVE gaming, including the ECombat laser tag system. Online gamers will be familiar with the different gaming guns such as the Uzi, MP7, P90 and M4. Paintball players are fully armoured with full head goggles, armoured gloves, and neck and chest protectors and use the Tippman FT-12 marker. Whether it's attacking a base, escorting a V.I.P. or simply defeating the enemy, gamers are physically and mentally challenged to complete the missions. Archery (fully instructed) and Disc Golf (new to Ireland) challenge the participant’s skill, marksmanship and patience.
