Dungarvan, Kilkenny
Tullaherin Round Tower, near Dungarvan, County Kilkenny dates from the early part of the 9th Century and was probably built by Cearbhall Mac Dunghal, King of Ossory from 845 to 855, as a defence against the Norsemen.
