A traditional small farm offering overnight glamping stays, visit for an afternoon to see the animals or to buy award winning local food. Tours of the Burren with a local native guide are also available.

Stephen and Eva’s farm is a traditional small holding that keeps free range cattle and rare breed pigs, mainly Saddleback and Glousester Old Spot breeds and crosses, hens and ducks, donkeys, dogs and a cat.

The farm’s ethos is to keep everything as natural as possible and animal welfare is crucial. The pigs have sheds with plenty of straw to shelter in when the weather is bad, but the doors are open so they can go outside whenever they like. Pigs love grass and they spend time eating loads of it – they get most of the minerals & nutrients from our rich soil, the herbs and the grasses. So in essence: what’s good for the animals and the land will naturally be good for us.

Glamping is available in a converted horse truck called Burren Glamping (see www.burrenglamping.com). It sits right in the heart of the farm with views of the animals in the field and of an iron age ring fort.

Burren Free Range Pork Farm is open for visitors to come and stay overnight, to buy meats from the farm shop (Burren Pork’s award winning meats are of best quality pork), or simply to come and see the animals. If you contact in advance a snack, lunch or dinner can be arranged if you would like to get a taste from Eva’s farm kitchen. The farm is part of the award winning Burren Food Trail and the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark. They have a lot to offer for visitors to the area; both activities and food experiences.

There are rich archaeological features all around the neighbourhood and Stephen, who is an experienced tour guide, can give you a tour highlighting the history, heritage, geology, botany etc.

Kilfenora is the home of ceili music and every Sunday night there is a dance to a traditional live band in an old barn in the village which is popular among both locals and visitors.

If you live in a city, have a busy hectic lifestyle, the farm is a haven for relaxation with fresh air, stargazing at night and clean, healthy food to enjoy and nourish you! Fáilte!
