Hens and Stags can choose thrilling white-water adventures or a safari trail through wild and wonderful natural valleys that offer wild swimming and a host of interesting features like ancient oak woods, old navigation channels, weirs to shoot and rapids to ride.

Families can expect a very positive introduction to adventure in the great outdoors. All family safaris are available to complete beginners from ages four and above and all abilities. Go with the Flow also offer a canoe hire service if you and a few friends would like to head off for a few days self-guided safari. The river Barrow is definitely the most interesting and beautiful waterways in Ireland. The river takes you through many beautiful towns, villages and unique rural environments. There is so much to see and do and yet you can have an incredibly peaceful and quiet paddle just looking around.

There are so many interesting features like the old navigation channels once used by Guinness to deliver Ireland favourite tipple in the South-East. The beautiful cascading weirs are hypnotic and the when you spot the heron fishing it is a wonderful surprise to see how the catch their prey. Otters and Kingfishers are there in abundance but you have to be quiet and quick with your eye. The old locks and lock keepers cottages are a reminder of a bygone era, however, it is fascinating to see the locks in use. This is a very unique environment and the Go with the Flow team can't wait to show you around.

If you would like to continue exploring the river Nore, the Nore Valley walk stretches from Kilkenny City to Inistioge and follows the river Nore. The walk also features several of Kilkenny’s best cafes, restaurants, hotels and craft shops many of which date back to the mid-century. The walk is approximately 11km in length and can take up to two and a half hours to complete.
