Cumann na mBád
Located on Arainn Mhór island off the coast of Donegal, Ireland, Cumann na mBád is a watersports club affiliated to the Irish Sailing Association.
Cumann na mBád was founded in 2013 by Comharchumann Forbartha agus Fostaíochta in order to promote watersports on the island of Arainn Mhór, Co. Donegal. The aim is to pass on safe boating and water skills, an appreciation of this beautiful island environment and a knowledge of the sea and weather through fun activities and events.
Cumann na mBád run a number of water based courses in association with carefully selected partners including kayaking, sailing, surfing, water safety and rowing. They have a range of high quality equipment including RS Feva sailing dinghies, RTM sit-on-top kayaks and the latest safety equipment.
The club operates on Leadh Garbh beach from the old R.N.L.I lifeboat station at Leadhb Garbh pier just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
