Located along the medieval mile that links Kilkenny Castle with St Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny Tourist Hostel is right in the heart of the city with all the attractions on its doorstep. Opposite are some of the city’s best pubs and music venues, the Theatre is next door, Smithwicks Brewery is a few doors up and nearby are great cafes, restaurants, shops and Supermarkets. Inexpensive car parking is a leisurely 5 minute walk away. You’ll be well placed to explore the windy laneways and medieval charm of Kilkenny, or cycle, bus or drive out to Jerpoint Abbey, Dunmore Caves or Kells Priory.
